Renato Monteiro

SENIOR CONSULTANT

Renato is a Senior Consultant at Stravillia, where he supports the development of sustainability strategies and reports, and stakeholder engagement for different companies at national level. He also collaborates in the analysis of benchmarks and international trends. Before joining Stravillia, Renato worked as a researcher at NOVA School of Science and Technology, where he developed his research on environmental planning, green infrastructures and ecosystem services and climate change adaptation strategies. He has also collaborated in the management of environmental education and ocean literacy projects, in the development of reports and scientific articles, in the organization and promotion of events, conferences and participatory sessions with stakeholders and also in the realization of training actions, preparation and lecturing of classes, having also co-supervised students in projects in the environmental area. Renato holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, branch of Environmental Systems, from FCT-NOVA and is currently attending the PhD Program in Environment and Sustainability in the same institution. He also completed the GRI certified training: Sustainability Reporting – GRI Standards.
