João Sargedas de Sousa

SENIOR CONSULTANT

João is a Senior Consultant at Stravillia, where he assists in the development of sustainability agendas and roadmaps, stakeholder engagement and sustainability reporting. He also collaborates in benchmarking and international trend analysis. Before joining the Stravillia team, João worked in the Environment area at TAP Air Portugal, dividing his time between the industrial environment, the corporate context and the specific themes of the air transport sector. Among the various activities he has developed we can highlight employee training, audits to industrial spaces, preparation of reports for the Portuguese Environment Agency, environmental awareness campaigns and the synthesis of environmental indicators for the TAP Group. He also helped found an Environmental NGO and, in 2018, became a member of the international organisation The Climate Reality Project. With a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Systems branch, from FCT-NOVA, he is an ISO 14001:2015 internal auditor, an IEFP certified trainer and successfully completed the IATA Aviation and Environment course.
