Context:
What are the SDGs? How can sustainability reporting help achieve the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development? And how can companies and governments contribute to achieving the goals through sustainability reporting? Business and governments are key to achieving the UN SDGs by 2030. There is now widespread agreement that governments are not the only actors making efforts to implement the SDGs. The active participation of companies is a determining factor in achieving these goals, but best practice for corporate reporting on the SDGs has yet to be established and GRI is at the forefront of creating a methodology.
Main Goals
- Know how to consult and take advantage of the modular structure of the GRI Standards to report on the organization’s alignment with the United Nations 2030 Agenda
