Rita is a Consultant at Stravillia, where she supports the development of sustainability strategies and reports, and stakeholder engagement for different companies at national level. She also collaborates in the analysis of benchmarks and international trends. Before joining Stravillia, Rita worked as a consultant on climate change and sustainability at Get2C, collaborating in projects for the development of strategies and roadmaps for carbon neutrality of companies, municipalities and regions; climate adaptation projects, as well as the monitoring of UNFCCC documents for PALOP countries. It also prepared several calculations of carbon footprint of companies, events, groups and municipalities. She collaborated directly with the National Directorate of Environment of Cape Verde, supporting the monitoring and analysis of climate policy, in addition to the national strategy for the preparation of the NDC and the UN Biannual Report. She has professional experience in an industrial environment in HSE, Corporate Social Responsibility and Lean Management, having collaborated with Bosch Termotecnologia and Delphi Technologies. Rita holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management branch, by Técnico Lisboa, and a Post-Graduation in Environmental and Sustainability Studies, by ISCTE Business School, and has completed the GRI certified training: Sustainability Reporting – GRI Standards
